At Lipman Art we have always admired Kravet's beautiful collection of fabrics so when they reached out to us to produce a line of exclusive prints we jumped at the opportunity. Who better to explain their to-the -trade program than Kravet - here is what they say:
New and exciting products are continually introduced and designed into stylized spaces, creating a complete "shop-the-room" experience. Noted design talent, including Alexa Hampton, Nick Olsen, HB Home, Jonathan Adler and Barclay Butera, have styled rooms that are fully merchandised with furniture and accessories available on the site. Future curators include Barbara Barry, Candice Olson, Jeffrey Alan Marks, Nate Berkus, Thom Filicia and more.
Lipman Art invited a few of their top fine artists who have a great eye for design to create artwork for several of the designers mentioned. Below some of the commissioned prints are pictured in the designer's setting.
Karen Darling for Candice Olson
Karen Darling moves effortlessly between figurative and abstract work. Her elegant nudes are the perfect compliment to Candice Olson's sophisticated designs.
Jeff Jackson was first asked to design a series of simple line nudes for Alexa Hampton's room. His serene figures have since been used by several other Kravet designers to add quiet luxury to any decor.
Jacques Pilon's years as an art director are evident in his harmonious designs. Standing alone or with other artwork Jacques' prints add balance and symmetry.
Ivo Stoyanov layers his abstract shapes to create flowers and horses that make a strong statement but never dominate. His designs have a timeless quality that never goes out of style.
Ronald Boaks has deconstructed his abstract work to create color blocks that act as anchors and tie everything together.
