Established in 1976
Lipman Art was established by Louise Lipman in 1976 to make art more accessible through books and posters.
Over the years, Lipman’s focus has expanded to include limited edition prints and one of a kind works by both emerging and established artists from around the world with a strong emphasis on Canadian art.
“I have been very fortunate in my career to have worked with Canadian greats from Alex Colville to Greg Curnoe; to have sold art to David Hockney and Vincent Price, and to have collaborated with so many talented artists in my publishing company and art galleries. I count many artists I have worked with as dear friends and everything I have learned about art I have learned from the artists and clients I have met.”
